Pain in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Learn from a nurse specialist and expert in the field about mechanisms and causes of pain in Crohn's or colitis, approaches to pain management, and the latest advancements in pain and IBD research. 


Speakers:

Irinia Nistor (NP, PhD) is a Nurse Practitioner with 14 years of clinical experience in pain management and gastroenterology. Over the past 5 years, she has been a NP in inpatient Gastroenterology at Halton Healthcare.

Dr. Alan Lomax is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences, and a member of the gastrointestinal diseases research unit at Queen's.
